Does any insurance cover the tub? Is there a discount for veterans and senior citizens? From what I here If we get a free consult and price in home we may be able to get it covered by the veterans disability. Have you ever had this occur before?

As for insurance paying, I don’t think so, but you may want to call your insurance co. to be sure.
The VA does give grants for walk in tubs. I suggest you call the VA to get the specific information.

Does Medicare cover cost? Generally no. On a case to case basis Medicaid sometimes cover part of the cost of the tub, not the installation though. You need to file for reimbursement after you purchased the tub. You need to include a doctor’s endorsement for the necessity of the tub. You also need to make a personal letter of you appreciation of the tub for your medical condition.
